Pain affects millions of Americans and chronic pain affects everyone too, including celebrities. While there are many health reasons and situations that cause chronic pain, one of the more common ones is injury or trauma.
That’s exactly what happened to actor, George Clooney on the set of his famous movie Syriana. He hit the floor during one of the action scenes and injured his back. The pain and discomfort that followed this event forced Clooney to incur various corrective surgeries.
Clooney stated that he was in agonizing pain. Such pain that he even considered “ending it all” at times. He underwent various pain procedures and spinal surgeries to help with this chronic back pain. After the treatments, he felt better and was able to regain his quality of life, but not to the point of that which he had before the injury. He is no longer able to do action and stunt scenes due to his chronic back pain and may even require more pain procedures in the future.
